Google ‘Nexus One’ phone: first pictures surface

As we reported yesterday, it has been an action-packed couple of days concerning the rumoured Google Phone, codenamed Nexus One

TeliaSonera to offer first 4G mobile broadband service

Swedish mobile phone operator TeliaSonera today claimed the launch of the world’s first fourth generation mobile broadband service which can boast on-the-go speeds ten times fast than 3G.

The company will trial the 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) service with customers in the Stockholm area of Sweden and the city of Olso in Norway, in early 2010, with Finland next in line for a roll out.

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that was originally launched in March of 2006 and has since grown into a real-time short messaging service that works over multiple networks and devices. Twitter enables users to stay in touch and share information with each other in real time. Users can use a maximum of 140 characters per message or “tweet” as they are called. You can tweet as little or as often as you want, as long as each individual tweet does not exceed 140 characters.

Google Easter egg starts year-end countdown

Google has revealed its countdown to the end of the year, courtesy of a nice little Easter egg on its homepage.

For those who want to see just how many seconds remain from now until 2010, simply click on the ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’ button when there’s nothing in the Google search box and you will be shown the countdown.
